Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By registering for or using Ojàa, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. The marketplace
Ojàa is a marketplace platform. Sales contracts are between buyers and independent sellers ("vendors"). Ojàa facilitates listings, checkout, payments, and dispute tools but is not the seller of vendor-listed products unless explicitly stated.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us of unauthorized access. One person or business may not maintain multiple accounts to evade suspensions or limits.
4. Buyers
You agree to pay for orders you place, provide valid delivery details, and confirm delivery only when you have received your items. Misuse of refunds, chargebacks, or delivery confirmation may lead to account restriction.
5. Sellers (vendors)
To sell on Ojàa you must complete vendor registration and KYC approval. You are responsible for accurate listings, lawful products, pricing, stock, packaging, and shipping. Prohibited or illegal items are not allowed. Ojàa may remove listings or suspend accounts that violate policy.
6. Payments, wallet, and COD
Supported payment methods may include online payment (Paystack), wallet balance, and cash on delivery (COD) where available. Fees, commissions, and seller package charges are disclosed in the app. Wallet top-ups and withdrawals are subject to verification and admin review where applicable.
7. Orders, delivery, and disputes
Delivery timelines and responsibilities are shared between buyers and vendors as shown in the app. If there is a problem with an order, use the in-app dispute flow where available. Ojàa may mediate but does not guarantee outcomes beyond stated platform policies.
8. Promotions and seller packages
Optional paid promotions and seller subscription packages may be offered. Prices and durations are shown before purchase. Credits or promotional benefits expire according to the plan selected.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Ojàa for fraud, harassment, malware, scraping that harms the service, or any activity that violates Nigerian law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ojàa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, vendor actions, delivery failures, or third-party payment issues. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid to Ojàa for the transaction giving rise to the claim in the prior 12 months, where applicable.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Nigeria unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection rules.
